WHAT IS THE BEST CULTURE TO PERFORM AWARD?
The Hofstede Insights Best Culture to Perform Award started as a response to business challenges in a highly competitive business environment. Its main goal is to enable organizational effectiveness by providing you with valuable and unique insights to build the Best Culture to Perform. The program in 2019 will measure and award how “tolerant” your organization in line with UAE’s Year of Tolerance.
We see organisational culture as a certain way of working that either supports the strategic (sub) goals you have or not. Your organisation may have multiple sub-cultures, each optimised to support a functional way of working given the context of each of these sub-cultures. A sub-culture can be, for example, the management team, the factory floor, support teams (HR, legal, IT), or geographical location.
Your Organisational Culture is unique. The Best Culture to Perform Award is all about you.
Your Cultural Optimisation
Presentation of concrete change suggestions: “The Lever of Change” to make the transformation happen.
Your Organisational Effectiveness
A clear visualisation of both the actual and optimal culture of your organisation, and your scope for improvement.

HOW TO GET AWARDED?
STEP 1 : Conduct an Organizational Culture Scan
The OC scan will accurately measure your current Organizational Culture using the Hofstede Multi Focus Model.
STEP 2: Receive Insightful Data
Hofstede Insights will analyze & present the results.
STEP 3: Optimal Culture Definition (Workshop 1)
The objective of this first workshop is to define your optimal culture which is aligned with your business strategy and ultimately impact your business performance.
Step 4: Optimal Culture Gap Analysis (Workshop 2)
In the second workshop, we look into the gaps between the actual and optimal culture, and we derive potential salient information by comparing your desired culture with our database.
Step 5: Create a Road Map to Transform your Culture (Workshop 3) OPTIONAL
Following definition and gap analysis workshops, a final road map development workshop will be conducted to outline next actions (Hofstede Insights can also support implementation through additional advisory meetings). If your organizations is already eligible for “The Best Culture to Perform Award”, this workshop is not longer required, the organization’s culture is already at an optimal level.
STEP 6: Get Awarded
The nomination will be based if your actual culture delivers on your strategy and business results. Once nominated, Hofstede Insights will provide a toolkit to help you get recognized including a press release template, as well as extensive recognition through Hofstede Insight’s communication channels and at our local awards ceremony attended by over 150 regional HR decision makers and CEO's.
